School boards are always looking for ways to engage the community and build support -- especially in today's economic climate. Local education foundations are charitable nonprofits that benefit a specific district and can also increase community engagement. Whether you are just starting out or have an established foundation, certain elements are necessary for it to thrive. We will review those key components.
